Memory Lane Studios LLC ("Memory Lane Studios", "we", "us") photographs and films weddings and events. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit memorylane.works, contact us, or respond to our ads on Instagram, Facebook or Google, and how we use it.

What we collect

Information you give us: your name and your partner's name, email address, phone number, wedding or event date, venue and location, the services you're interested in, guest count, how you heard about us, your social media handle, and anything you write in your message. You give us this through our website contact forms, our Instagram and Facebook lead forms, email, direct messages or phone.

Information about how you found us: when you arrive from an ad or a link, we record which campaign, ad group or ad set, ad and search keyword brought you, and the click identifiers that Google and Meta add to the link.

Website activity: our website uses cookies and similar technologies from Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our ads. These record things like pages viewed, the device and browser you use, and whether you submitted a form.

How we use it

To reply to your inquiry, check our availability, send you information and pricing, schedule a call, and prepare and deliver your photos and films.

To keep a record of our conversations and your booking in our client management system.

To measure and improve our advertising, for example to learn which ads lead to inquiries and bookings. We may share limited information with Meta and Google for this purpose, such as the click identifier, the time you inquired or booked, the booking value and, for Meta, a securely hashed (one-way encrypted) version of your email address or phone number so their systems can match the event. We do not share your message or wedding details with advertising platforms.

To show our ads to people who visited our website or engaged with our Instagram, and to avoid showing ads to people who already follow us.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run our business, and they process your information only on our behalf: Pixieset (website, contracts, invoices and galleries), Google Workspace (email and calendar), Supabase (our client database, hosted in the United States), Anthropic (AI that helps us summarise inquiries and draft replies, which a person always reviews before anything is sent), Telegram (internal notifications to our team), and Meta and Google (advertising and analytics). We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and client records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal and tax obligations, generally up to seven years after your event. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time, unless we must keep it by law.

Your choices

Access, correction and deletion: email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Marketing: we only email you about your inquiry or booking. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Cookies and ads: you can block or delete cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, adjust your ad preferences in your Meta and Google account settings, or use the opt-outs at optout.aboutads.info.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
