An Indian wedding is rarely one day. The mehndi, the sangeet, the baraat, the ceremony and the reception each have their own people, their own rituals and their own light, and each deserves to be photographed on its own terms.
Our style blends documentary photography with fine art portraiture. This approach allows us to capture the day’s authentic emotions as they unfold while providing you with timeless portraits.
Whether it is the noise of the baraat arriving, the detail of the mehndi, a cousin’s sangeet performance that nobody expected, or the stillness at the mandap, we are there for it as it happens.

From the haldi and the baraat to the jaimala, the kanyadaan, the pheras and the vidaai, we follow the ceremony as the pandit leads it, and we plan with you in advance where we may stand at the mandap.

The Anand Karaj asks for quiet. We photograph the milni, the lavaan and the doli with heads covered, shoes off and without intruding on the gurdwara, then bring the energy back for the reception.

How is pricing handled?
Coverage for a multi-day wedding depends on the number of events and days, and whether you want film and an album. We go through it on a complimentary 30-minute consultation and send a proposal afterwards.
How many photographers come?
A lead photographer, with a second photographer for the ceremony and reception on most weddings. Larger weddings can add photographers and a film team.
Do you know Hindu, Sikh and Muslim ceremonies?
We prepare for every one. Before the wedding we go through the order of each event with you, and with the pandit, granthi or imam where helpful, so we know when to move and when to stay still.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes. We are based in Connecticut and work across New England, New York and New Jersey, and we travel for destination weddings. Details on the call.
When do we receive photos and films?
Around 100 highlight photos within a week of the wedding and the full gallery within three months. Film: a one-minute teaser within a month and the highlight film within three months.
