Hi, my name is Tharun. I’m the founder of Memory Lane Studios and one of the photographers behind it, and I believe the best moments are the ones you don’t plan.
What I love most about weddings is the in-between: the deep breath before walking down the aisle, the quiet smiles, the uncontrollable laughter, and the energy on the dance floor when everyone finally lets go.
My goal is to capture your wedding day exactly as it feels, not just how it looks.
I keep things easy and relaxed so you can be fully present while I take care of the memories. If you think you’re awkward on camera, don’t worry; that is my specialty.
When I’m not photographing or filming weddings, I’m usually chasing cinematic storytelling, travelling when I can, and enjoying good music and better conversations. I’m a details person, and I care about telling your story the right way.
About the studio
Memory Lane Studios is based in Glastonbury, Connecticut and photographs and films weddings across New England, New York and New Jersey. Our style blends documentary photography with fine art portraiture. This approach allows us to capture the day’s authentic emotions as they unfold while providing you with timeless portraits.
Much of our work is Indian and South Asian weddings, often across several days, alongside Western weddings in churches, country clubs and estates. Before each wedding we learn the couple’s traditions and the order of their events, so on the day we know where to be before the moment arrives.
Photography, film and drone come from one team, and a second photographer joins for the ceremony and reception on most weddings. We travel for destination weddings.
